Kleki christmas drawing

This week for our last session of cybersmart. We went on kleki and made a drawing for christmas. I chose to draw jesus because he was the one that went on the cross for us, and if he didn’t die for us on that cross we wouldn’t be here. So to honor him and the miracles  he did i drew a drawing of him. I had to keep restarting untill i was satisfied.

it took me a few minutes but it was worth it.

SLJ – Step it up “Legs tally”

This activity for SLJ I learnt some more about the interesting insect, centipedes. This one gave me such more information about centipedes and teached me much more things about this insect. There are so much information and facts that I out into this. I had to use my reading skills and analizing skills to find the key points.

It to took me a while to read and answer the text but overall this activity was totally worth it!

SLJ Kickstart – “Wētā Punga – He tīmatanga”

This new activity was very enjoyable and kept me interested the entire time. It was a great way to pass the time because it combined creative drawing with learning new and interesting information about the wētā. I liked being able to express my creativity while also understanding more about this unique insect, which made the activity both fun and educational. Overall, it was an interesting experience that made learning feel more enjoyable and interactive. This was kind of hard because the information for the work was all in maori so if this is not the full work sorry for my misunderstanding.

( if you have free time there’s always learning and fun )

SLJ – Step it up “Art In the web”

This one was very cool and made me use multiple paper to finally perfect it. unfortunately I didn’t have paper rolls to make spiders so my creation might look plain but overall I think this is the best activity so far!

So for this activity they made us fuse a few of cool animals who had superpowers like cheetahs frogs and falcons. This activity made me think hard what to fuse and made me really creative about my idea. in the end I made a fusion of a cheetah, eel, Charmeleon and a Peregrine falcon.

after I made all the body parts I put them together into a animal fusion silhouette

SLJ – Kickstart “Art In the web”

SLJ – Kickstart ” The thorny devil “

This week for SLJ ( summer learning journey ) I had to choose 1 out of 10 amazing critters which was a hard decision because there were so many abilities each one had but overall I choosed to create a poster about a cool critter called ” The thorny devil” this animal was so cool and had a mix of every superpower.

I first chose a comic style slide carefully picking the perfect one to use. Then I grabbed a image of the thorny devil and placing it in the box ( just enough so that the name could fit in too) . lastly I used my researching skills to find out what cool abilites the thorny devil has.

I really enjoyed making this poster. It wasn’t just easy and fun/entertaining it teached me about a cool critter that I never knew existed.

This first activity was an amazing way to start up summer learning journey

( If you ever have free time I recommend you do this! )
