This term for inquiry me and my friend Carlo worked on this activity together mostly comparing our special place with the tamaki river ( also includes ) relationship feelings and care.
It was hard to answer the questions but we both went thoroughly through our answers and responses.
Me and Carlo really enjoyed this activity and now makes us think about our special place differently!
Today for chinese new year we made vegetarian dumplings.
We had so much fun and our teacher let us all have a turns, these are all the steps.
First : Get all the ingredients –
Second : We shopped most of the vegetable ingredients and mixed it all up making the filling of the dumpling. Third : Our teacher went around and gave 2 dumpling wrappers to us all. Forth When we all had two dumpling wrappers, everyone dipped their finger in water and spread it around our dumpling wraper before putting the filling in. Fith We had to Close is with our thumb but some used forks. And the last step is to cook it and you can use any sauce but for us we used soy sausce.
This term for Diwali we made diyas.We made it out of clay and left it to harden.once it was harden we painted it any color we liked and waited for it to dry before taking our picture.

This week for Chinese lunar new year I worked on this slide and learned new interesting facts.
This term for Ramadan we aswered questions from a slide and made diyas out of dough aalso painting them.
This week for Ramadan we did some research and made a poster on Adobe express with four facts we learned from a Ramadan slide.
LI:For inquiry we learnt about migration.We learnt what it means and after we had to test our knowledge by how much we know and made a Google drive of our family’s migration.
